So Facebook recently rolled out a new feature, Facebook Shops, and it is designed to give both sellers and buyers a greater shopping experience than the former Facebook Shops that was available to Facebook users who had Facebook pages for their businesses or products. Its is currently being gradually rolled out in the US, so it may not yet be available here in Nigeria.

Facebook also says it is working with other ecommerce giants like Shopify, BigCommerce, WooCommerce, Channel Advisor, CedCommerce, Cafe24, Tienda Nube and Feedonomics to give small businesses the support they need.
One of the advantages of the new Facebook shops is that it will connect your consumers across all of its platforms, Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp, providing a holistic consumer experience. WhatsApp now has catalogue features enabling your customers view products right within WhatsApp.

Facebook Marketplace
One of the advantages of the new feature is that Facebook Shops can now be connected to Facebook Marketplace, which will give users a larger audience to display their goods and services.
